Tianne Allan

With over two decades of experience as a certified yoga therapist, registered yoga teacher, and sound healer, Tianne has offered a guiding light to countless individuals in Vancouver and internationally, since 2002.

Tianne’s journey to becoming a yoga teacher wasn’t conventional. Previously, she thrived as a high-performance athlete at the national level, bringing the same dedication to her yoga practice that she once poured into her athletic pursuits. It was a life-altering car accident that truly unveiled the transformative power of yoga in Tianne’s life. Through the depths of her own physical and emotional trauma, she discovered the profound healing potential of restorative yoga and yoga therapy.

Driven by gratitude and a profound sense of purpose, Tianne now devotes herself to sharing the gifts of yoga with others. Specializing in chronic pain, restorative yoga, anxiety, and insomnia, she empowers individuals to embark on their unique journey of healing and transformation.

Maggie Anderson

Maggie Anderson

I’ve been teaching various styles of Yoga since 2002- from Power, Anusara, and Ashtanga Vinyasa, to Hatha, Yin and Restorative. My classes are opportunities to cultivate a deeper awareness and sense of belonging in our bodies, minds, and communities.

I love to create non-intimidating spaces for all bodies to feel comfortable to be themselves, without judgement. I aim to offer therapeutic embodiment experiences that meet students where they are, and encourage them to do what feels right for them from moment to moment. I’m super passionate about helping fitness and wellness spaces be more inclusive and accessible, offering a variety of choice-based options to meet individual needs.

We will use conscious breath, mindful movement, and deep stillness to explore the human experience together.

Christie Baumgartner

Christie Baumgartner

Christie is deeply passionate about helping people come back to themselves. She loves working with athletes, supporting both performance and recovery through mindful movement and breath.

Slow and mindful movement is at the heart of her practice, offering a space to slow down, reset the body, and care for the nervous system. Her classes are designed to help students turn inward, stay curious about the bodies journey, breathe deeply, and leave feeling grounded.

Jolene Bayda

Jolene Bayda

From a young age, I was drawn to movement, music, breath, dance, and stillness; each becoming teachers that shaped how I understand the body. Today, I lead a 55-hour Yin Yoga Certification, a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, and facilitate retreats both locally and internationally.

My teaching continues to evolve, using breath, movement, and self-inquiry to help unravel patterns of tension and reconnect students with themselves. Through a creative blend of Yang and Yin Yoga practices, I invite you to explore beyond the poses, allowing breath to become a pathway to freedom, presence, and lasting transformation.

Helen Camisa

Helen Camisa

Helen Camisa

Helen has been teaching yoga for over a decade and it was the first step on her own journey towards body acceptance. Once she saw how much it shifted her own inner landscape, she knew she needed to share it.

Helen believes that we all deserve to feel good and enjoy our bodies in this moment, rather than waiting for the “perfect time”. The time is now!

In Helens classes you’ll find fat and body positivity, themes to inspire you, modifications to fit your body, and an invitation to reframe your relationship with the body you have now.

Outside of yoga, Helen is a comedian and she brings that lighthearted energy onto the mat.

David Cross

David Cross

David Cross

David first discovered yoga in 2008 when he happened upon a book filled with images of people in remarkable shapes. That book was Vanda Scaravelli’s Awakening the Spine, a book on yoga, and it spoke of things he did not understand but felt were too beautiful not to be true.

Not long after he took himself to a class, and was lucky enough to find a teacher – Beverly Rice – who taught with equal parts wonder, play, sincerity, and depth… qualities he aims to cultivate in his practice and teaching. He continues his studies in the lineages of Ashtanga and Anusara, as well as ongoing studentship in Tantra, Veda Parayana, Ayurveda, and Jyotisha. For David, yoga is living music, a song of the heart to itself.

This song becomes sweeter with patience, sincerity, and others alongside us, and it is David’s immense joy to share in its singing, again and again.

Lidija Martinovic Rekert

I was born in Montenegro, a small tribal country in the southern Balkans that opens into the Adriatic Sea. I immigrated to Canada in 1995, during the civil war in the former Yugoslavia, with my three-year-old daughter. Prior to immigrating, I graduated from the University of Belgrade and received extensive training in Counseling Psychology, Psychodynamic, and Gestalt Therapy.

My first 200hr yoga training was back in 2001, since than I studied over a thousand hours of different yoga styles, experiential anatomy and somatic courses and never stop learning.

My approach to yoga and movement is grounded in somatic and embodied practices, and influenced by Vijnana Yoga and Kundalini Yoga, both of which I taught for 25 years.

Since 2002, I have been studying and practicing Buddhist teachings, initially within the Theravada school, and later with Tibetan Buddhist mandala. I am trained as a Meditation Instructor (MI) through the Shambhala lineage.

Clara Roberts-Oss

Clara Roberts-Oss

I have been a student of yoga for almost 25 years and a teacher for 23. My roots are in vinyasa (Jivamukti, Prana Flow and Laughing Lotus). However my curiosity for all things yoga has led me to study many other lineages – Iyengar, Kundalini, Restorative and Forrest yoga to name a few. I am also a lover of philosophy and have had the privilege to study with tantric scholars.

My classes are vinyasa based with a mixture of other styles to create a holistic practice that leaves you feeling grounded and strong. My intention with each class is to nourish – body, mind and spirit so that we can show up as better beings for the people and places in our lives.

I practice and teach a mix of slow flow sequences and longer restorative holds meant to bring the mind and body into the same place at the same time. Here and now is the mantra with the intention of healing and strengthening nervous systems overwrought from doing too many things.

Kevin Yee-Chan

Kevin Yee-Chan

Kevin Yee-Chan

An acupuncturist, somatic educator, and artist, Kevin’s practice is grounded in radical acceptance + living tradition. Bhakti yoga, classical Chinese medicine, and Chan/Zen meditation are the foundations of their shared teaching; they serve as embodied pathways to spirit-forward, land-based healing.

As a clinician and teacher, Kevin has over a decade of experience supporting physical pain and injury, mental-emotional health, hormonal health, queer health, and BIPOC health. As an artist for over two decades, their process always comes back to questioning what’s normalized.

Kevin is grateful for their primary teachers: Janet Stone, Manoj Dubey, Dr. Scott Blossom, Dr. Juan Huang, Dr. Jing Zhang, Sarah Pritchard, Bertrand d’At, and the indigenous stewards + lands they live with.
